Signature moves play an important role in the world of WWE. When a wrestler successfully executes his/her signature move, it signals that a match is nearing its conclusion. This allows the fans to get engaged as they wait in anticipation.

Some signature moves have become so iconic that they continue to be executed regularly even today. For example, Shawn Michaels' Sweet Chin Music, a simple roundhouse kick to the opponent's chin has transcended generations and become a staple in many matches.

Here are four such signature moves that WWE stars have allowed other talents to use in the ring.

#4. WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio uses Rey Mysterio's 619

It's evident that the one person Dominik Mysterio hates the most in WWE is his legendary Hall of Fame father Rey Mysterio. Despite this animosity, Dominik doesn't shy away from using Rey's signature 619.

This move is a spinning kick to the opponent's head when they lying against the middle rope. Dominik, who made his in-ring debut in 2020, has been using the 619 since and often does it in combination with a frog splash to defeat his opponents.

#3. The 'Stone Cold' Stunner

Stone Cold Steve Austin made The Stunner one of the most iconic wrestling moves during the Attitude Era. The move, a sit-down face-lock jawbreaker was easy for opponents to sell. It often featured over-the-top selling from stars such as The Rock and Triple H, which further popularized it.

Kevin Owens initially used the Pop-up Powerbomb as his finisher in WWE to win his matches. However, he decided to change his finisher and requested permission to adopt his childhood hero Steve Austin's finisher.

The Texas Rattlesnake gladly gave his blessing. Since 2019, Owens has been using the Stunner as his main move.

#2. The Pedigree

Seth Rollins has been Triple H's number-one guy since making his debut in NXT, where he became the first-ever NXT Champion. After his iconic run on the main roster with The Shield, Seth shocked the WWE Universe by turning on Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to join Triple H's stable, The Authority.

During that time, there were discussions about WWE banning Rollins' finisher, The Curb Stomp due to safety concerns. The move was briefly banned, prompting Rollins to adopt The Pedigree, a move popularized by Triple H himself. The move was a double underhook lift followed by a neck snap into the mat which helped The Game become a 14-time World Champion in WWE.

Rollins used The Pedigree as his finishing move until he was allowed to use The Curb Stomp again. He continues to execute The Pedigree to this day as one of his signature moves, often leading up to his finisher.

#1. Randy Orton's RKO

The RKO has arguably become the most iconic move in wrestling history in terms of relevance, mainstream attention, and countless internet memes. Randy Orton has already had a Hall of Fame-worthy career and a significant reason for his success has been the RKO, which often takes his opponents by surprise.

Interestingly, the RKO was not invented by The Viper. It was actually Diamond Dallas Page who originally popularized the leaping cutter, calling it The Diamond Cutter during his time in WCW. Orton's adaptation and execution of the move have made it legendary in its own right, solidifying its place in wrestling history.
