Rhea Ripley has been feuding with Shayna Baszler for some time now and the two are set to lock horns next week with the NXT Women’s Championship on the line. Last week, we saw Baszler brutalize Ripley and the latter might turn the tables on the champion tonight.

However, Baszler is not the only concern for the ‘The Nightmare’, who is also engaged in a budding feud with Dakota Kai. They were set to compete in a 1-on-1 match last week but it was Mia Yim who wanted the opportunity to seek revenge for the vicious attack laid on her by Kai ahead of NXT Takeover: Wargames.
Last time, we saw Baszler using the numbers advantage to get the better of Ripley and tonight, we might see the latter walk out with a few allies. Hence, Kai might take the opportunity to temporarily join forces with the reigning Women’s Champion to take on their mutual enemy.
Although Baszler and Kai share a long unpleasant history, the two can come together for a brief period and shock the WWE Universe. Moreover, this move will help the Creative in adding more credibility to Kai’s much-awaited heel turn on the Black and Gold brand.
