Seth Rollins' IC Title run has been lackluster due to WWE’s insistence in having The Shield reunite and take part in a million different storylines, and that has caused the IC Title reign of Rollins to drop in quality. But the IC Title open challenge Rollins has employed over the last few weeks on Raw could be the answer to the IC Title’s woes, and Hawkins' losing streak.
While some might see Hawkins taking the IC Title from Rollins as a terrible decision by WWE, it will actually be a smart one if WWE wants to keep Rollins engaged in The Shield narrative, so it will allow the midcard to have its title.
Whether Hawkins' IC Title win would be long-term or not, it would be a shocking moment if Hawkins' two hundred plus losing streak ends with a title win.
