3. Carmella VS Asuka - Money In The Bank

Carmella vs. Asuka

Asuka was booked to challenge Carmella by Smackdown's General Manager, Paige at Money In The Bank. It seemed like Asuka would finally get a run at the top with Women's Championship. But WWE decided to let Carmella beat Asuka to get her over the fans, which did not happen either. The match itself was not that bad, as it showed what it was supposed to as Asuka was beating the hell out of Carmella from the moment the bell rang.

But, when Asuka was about to win, James Ellsworth came disguised as Asuka herself with her mask and distracted her. Carmella took advantage of that and attacked Asuka from behind before pinning her. This was surely one of the worst ways because James did not even interfere in the match and Asuka lost relatively cleanly.

2. Carmella VS Asuka ~ Extreme Rules

Carmella vs. Asuka (again)

It was a no-brainer to decide that the second match between the two should also become part of this list. Asuka got another chance to beat Carmella for the championship at Extreme Rules but it did nothing more than ruining her reputation even more.

This time, James was suspended above the ring in the shark cage so that he could not interfere in the match. The match started the same way it did at Money In The Bank: with Asuka leading the charge for the most part of the match. When it seemed like Asuka would finally win the match, James came out of the cage with his leg still stuck between the bars.

Asuka started beating him instead of Carmella and Carmella again took the advantage of that by attacking her from behind and hitting Asuka's head on the shark cage and then pinning her.

It did not help anyone as Carmella was just the coward heel and this match made Asuka look dumb and easily distracted.
