For a casual fan of wrestling (like me), the very image of a WWE Superstar stands as someone who is invincible, someone who is so strong and so tough in real life that no one dares to cross paths with him or her.
One would think that robbers would steer clear of these Superstars, fearing a beatdown. Remember Shad Gaspard, the former WWE star who accosted an armed robber and body slammed him, not caring at all for the gun being held to his face?
That’s what wrestlers are made of… or so one would think. However, this is not the case always. In fact, some wrestlers have had stuff stolen in broad daylight, right from under their noses!
Here, we list four WWE Superstars who were victims of robbery.
#1 Hulk Hogan
Yes, you read that right. The Hulkamania was a victim of a robbery!
A package was reportedly stolen from outside Hulk Hogan’s mansion on Clearwater Beach in Florida. This took place last year, in December.
The police even posted a video from a surveillance tape in which it could be seen that four females jumped off a red car, three of them ran up the steps and ripped open a package that was lying on the porch.
The robbers then proceeded to make off with the contents of the package, leaving the empty box on the porch.

We are going to take a guess here and say that the thieves probably didn’t know whose house it was.
Coming to the contents of the package, it could be anything because Hogan did not shed any light on the incident. He only mentioned on Twitter that it was his sixth anniversary and we can conjecture that it could have been an anniversary gift for his wife.
#2 AJ Styles
AJ Styles is used to performing well in the ring and putting up entertaining matches for the fans. What he is not used to, however, is being at the unfortunate end of a robbery while doing it.
It was in January earlier this year when Styles was in Jonesboro with the rest of the SmackDown LIVE roster for a Live Event. Reportedly, the Superstar was a victim of a robbery on that very night. It happened when he was out in front of the crowd, entertaining them, as usual.
Apparently, someone made his way into the dressing area and stole a black bag belonging to the wrestler. It is common for wrestlers to keep a few things handy as they bounce from city to city for different shows and Styles kept all his important items in that black bag.
Styles, later on, went on to report the robbery and listed the items that had gone missing. The thieves had made off with an iPhone, an Xbox with multiple games, headphones, American and Japanese currency and a small TV!
Clearly, it was the robber’s lucky day!
#3 Xavier Woods
Back in January 2015, Xavier Woods had a very unfortunate experience with a thief. On that particular day, several WWE Superstars were hanging around at the company’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. They were working out and minding their own business, per usual.
They had to wait in the town for the episode of SmackDown LIVE that night. However, Woods was unlucky enough to have his money stolen from the venue. In fact, all of his money was stolen from his wallet in broad daylight from the WWE headquarters!
Woods, who was still in his early days with the New Day back at that time, took to Twitter to express himself and wrote:
“To the person who stole all of the money out of my wallet today. I hope that whatever you desperately needed to buy will bring you happiness.”
It is interesting to note that someone managed to sneak out some money from a Superstar’s wallet in front of everyone but without anyone noticing. That is what we call a skilled thief!
#4 Heath Slater and others
This incident took place only last February when several WWE Superstars were robbed in Oakland, California.
The SmackDown LIVE Superstars were making a trip from Phoenix, Arizona to Oakland, California for a live event on Monday night. However, the rental car carrying Heath Slater and others was reportedly burglarized.
Apparently, the thieves broke the rear window on the driver’s side before robbing the wrestlers. Heath Slater posted the picture of the damaged car on Twitter. Among the others robbed were Konnor and Viktor from The Ascension who took to Twitter as well.
Viktor mentioned that he had his backpack stolen and also went on to add that all the positivity was gone and that it was a real disgrace to humanity. Konnor on the other hand opted to see the funnier side and asked if anyone had seen his book bag.
In California, automobile burglaries are quite a common incident. Not only is the crime rate high in that particular area, but also it is usually of violent nature. The three wrestlers were lucky that things did not turn out to be worse.
