From challenging for WWE Championship to being back as the host of the Kevin Owens show in just two weeks is quite a fall

The very first week that Kevin Owens steps back into the ring after his return he gets a Title shot. A very emotional Kevin Owens talks about how important this is for him and his family and how he wants to take the title back to his little children at home. He ends up in a title bout just 2 weeks into his return. The match is converted to a triple threat match and Mustafa Ali is added to the match. During the match, Mustafa Ali gets pinned by Daniel Bryan and he still retains the title.

The very next week what happens? There's no mention of Kevin Owens in the championship scene. He's completely forgotten and this week he features in the "Kevin Owens Show" where he's pretty much a sidekick to Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. Oh and he doesn't really have much to do for mania either.

In 3 weeks Owens has gone from sending the fans into a frenzy with his return, fighting for the biggest gold on SmackDown to just an afterthought with literally nothing planned for him at WrestleMania. This is surely not going to go down well with him and he might be a tad disappointed with the direction his character has taken so quickly.
