4 Wrestlers who should have faced The Undertaker at WrestleMania in his career

The greatest 'Dream Match' that never happened

The Undertaker has been around for over two decades. In that time period, he has had plenty of memorable matches. Some were on 'The Grandest Stage of Them All' WrestleMania. As we look back at some of his opponents, we realize that WWE could've booked someone else for whatever year it was.

Shawn Micheals, Triple H, CM Punk and Randy Orton are just a few that had really great matches with Undertaker at WrestleMania. But The Deadman has had a lot of disappointing battles as well.

Let's look at four superstars who should've faced Undertaker at WrestleMania.

#4 Razor Ramon

The 'Bad Guy' vs The 'Deadman'

I would say the height of Ramon's career in WWE was the 1994-1995 time period. Which means he would've been great for Taker to face at WrestleMania. Instead, WWE booked Taker against King Kong Bundy.

I get why WWE booked Taker against him. It made the match seem like an obstacle Taker had to get past. But an Undertaker vs Razor Ramon probably would've created more buzz for the event.

Taker would win of course but it would've been great for Ramon's career to step into the ring with the Deadman. Razor was pretty much a high mid-carder for his WWE run and this match definitely would put Razor in the main event scene at the time.

#3 Mick Foley

Surprisingly, these two never faced at WrestleMania

Mick Foley and the Undertaker have had a great feud with each other during their time. Obviously, when people think of this feud, they think of Undertaker throwing Foley off the Hell in a Cell. However, they never faced each other at WrestleMania.

WrestleMania 15 or 16 would've been a perfect for the two to face. At WrestleMania 14, Undertaker faced Kane which did make sense at the time. Instead of Big Boss Man at WrestleMania 15, Foley would've been a great opponent to face.

So, If Undertaker wasn't hurt around the time of WrestleMania 16, Foley would've been great again. It would've been better instead of the clutter Fatal four way WWE booked for the Main event.

#2 Chris Jericho

Should've been the main event for any WrestleMania

When Jericho and Undertaker were full-timers, they surprisingly never faced each other on the 'Show of Shows'. It's a shame because it would've been a great match to see.

WrestleMania 22 would've been a great time for these them to face each other. That would be assuming Jericho wasn't away from WWE at the time. Undertaker had a disappointing match with Mark Henry that year and Jericho would've been a better opponent.

Both men have had plenty of great matches at the event and I'm sure these two would tear the house down if they ever faced during that time.

#1 Sting

A dream match they should've happened.

Without a doubt, the most talked about encounter that never happened. Fans everywhere would agree that Undertaker vs Sting should've happened instead of Sting vs Triple H.

It's sad because it will never happen. Sting is retired and Undertaker is pretty much on his way out already. When Sting debuted in WWE, fans everywhere wanted to see the two face off at WrestleMania. Instead, we got an OK match between HHH and Sting as well as a pointless match between Undertaker and Bray Wyatt.

WWE missed a chance with this match and it will go down as probably the greatest missed opportunity in history.

What makes Sting special? His first AEW opponent opens up RIGHT HERE.
