The live event season is on in full swing with WrestleMania 34 being just around the corner. While the Raw roster stopped over in Tulsa for a stacked house show, the superstars from the blue brand were in Odessa, Texas without AJ Styles in attendance.

The WWE Champion was attacked by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at the Live Event at the iconic MSG a few days earlier and has since been written off tv as part of an injury angle.

Randy Orton stepped in to take AJ Styles' place in the main event while Mike Kanellis returned to in-ring action in a tag team match.

So without further adieu, here are the results and highlights of the show:

#1 Baron Corbin vs Bobby Roode vs Jinder Mahal

A triple threat match between three of the top US title contenders kicked off the night's proceedings. The match picked up pace after a slow start and culminated Roode picking up the win via a Glorious DDT.

Roode received glorious cheers while Mahal and Corbin got equal amounts of boos from the fans in attendance.

#2 Breezango and Zack Ryder vs Mike Kanellis, Primo Colon and Mojo Rawley

Mike Kanellis and Primo Colon ended their lengthy spell of absence by returning to the ring in a 6-man tag team match against the babyface team of Zack Ryder, Tyler Breeze, and Fandango.

The randomly booke match had its fair share of entertaining spots and ended with Po Po and Woo Woo Woo getting the 1...2...3! The colourful babyfaces were quite popular the popular figures in Odessa.

#3 Sin Cara vs Dolph Ziggler

We're not sure why WWE booked this match but with a thin roster, the creative may have had no other option left. Ziggler, though, drew heat like a true veteran and got good reactions during the short match.

While Sin Cara initially teased a possible upset, the show-off regained control of the situation and dispatched off the former Lucha Dragon with a Zig-Zag for the win

#4 The Usos vs Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable vs Rusev & Aiden English (SmackDown Tag Team Championship match)

The SmackDown Tag Team Champions got a tremendous pop as they made their way out to defend their titles against the equally popular Rusev and Aiden English.

This match was a great follow-up to a weird clash between Ziggler and Cara. The six insanely talented performers put together a hots of decent spots that ended with Jey and Jimmy retaining their belts.

#5 The Ascension vs The Bludgeon Brothers

Two tag teams of a similar make faced off against each other in what ended up being a squashing routine for the Bludgeon Brothers.

Luke Harper and Erick Rowan beat the longest reigning NXT Tag Team Champion in convincing fashion to extend their undisputed dominance. The former Wyatt Family members impressed with their moves and tenacity in the brief bout.

#6 Charlotte vs Ruby Riott (NC)

The advertised singles match ended in a no-contest, which enabled Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan to unleash a beatdown on the SmackDown Women's Champion along with their leader Ruby Riott.

The assault continued until two of Charlotte's closest friend came out to make the save...

#7 Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Naomi vs. The Riott Squad

The reinforcement came in the form of Becky Lynch and Naomi who cleared the ring. An impromptu six-woman tag team match was booked and as expected, the babyfaces came out on top. Ruby was forced to tap out to the Figure 8 by the champion herself in the finishing sequence of the bout.

The babyfaces got the biggest reactions during the course of the match while the Riott Squad barely got any.

#8 Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (Odessa street fight)

As mentioned earlier, AJ Styles wasn't in action as he was taken out by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at the live event in MSG. Randy Orton looked to get some retribution for the Phenomenal Champion by teaming up the King of Strong Style.

Orton's hilarious impersonations of the #1 contender for the WWE title were some of the stand-out moments of the match. The street fight lived up to its name Orton sent KO through a table and set up Nakamura for the finish by delivering an RKO to Zayn. The Artist connected with the Kinshasa on Zayn and picked up a feel-good win.

Orton and Nakamura celebrated with the fans and sent them home happy.
