When Triple H formed Evolution in 2003, his main goal was to keep the World Heavyweight Title around his waist. Evolution was a successful stable with four big names, but nothing lasts forever. Evolution members, Triple H and Batista, had a memorable rivalry in 2005.

The feud started after Batista won the 2005 Royal Rumble match. 'The Game' was the World Heavyweight Champion at the time and since Batista won the Royal Rumble match, he earned a title shot to headline WrestleMania. Triple H tried convincing Batista to challenge then WWE Champion JBL, but 'The Animal' set his eyes on the World Heavyweight Title instead.

Batista won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 21, beating Triple H. Following the colossal battle, Batista also pinned Triple H at Backlash and Vengeance.

Fast forward to 2019, Batista returned to have one last match against the man who made him a star. Batista and Triple H locked horns in a No Holds Barred Match at WrestleMania 35. It was the longest match of the night and The Game finally defeated Batista for the first time in his career. It would be Batista's last match ever.
