Nobody in WWE has defeated Alexa Bliss on more occasions without losing (5) than Asuka.
It looked at one stage as if the two women could meet at WrestleMania 34 after “The Empress of Tomorrow” won the inaugural women’s Royal Rumble and teased that she might challenge Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship at the event.
Although she chose to face Charlotte Flair instead, the Japanese star continued to feud with the five-time women’s champion on Raw in the weeks leading up to the 2018 “Show of Shows”, defeating her five times in the space of three months.
Their most notable meeting came in March 2018 when Asuka teamed with The Miz (aka Team Awe-suka) to defeat Bliss and Braun Strowman (aka Team Little Big) in the final of the Mixed Match Challenge.
With Bliss remaining on Raw and Asuka staying on SmackDown Live after the 2019 Superstar Shake-Up, we are unlikely to see the two former champions go head-to-head again in the near future.
