Meiko Satomura joined the NXT UK brand last month when she was able to defeat Isla Dawn. The Japanese star has since stepped into a feud with NXT UK Women's Champion Kay Lee Ray where she has become a much more prominent star on the brand.
Satomura is definitely considered to be a veteran in the business after making her debut back in 1995. Over the past 26 years, she has competed for several companies around the world, including WCW and Chikara.
The current WWE star also competed as part of the Mae Young Classic back in 2018 and defeated several of the company's up-and-coming stars enroute to the semi-finals, where she was defeated by eventual winner Toni Storm.
Satomura has been around the NXT UK brand since 2020 and has been seen as an on-air talent coach, which shows how much WWE currently respects the experience that she has in the business and her past two decades of hard work.
