5 amazing things that WWE did at WWE Money In The Bank

WWE knows how to manipulate its fans, and they did it to perfection at Money In The Bank. The show was filled with various title changes, some botches and also some amazing returns. With Bayley becoming the new Smackdown Women's Champion and Brock Lesnar the new Beast In The Bank, there are a plethora of stories that can take place on the WWE roster.

The company has shown that it can change the storylines instantly, and also entice fans to tune into their weekly shows. Brock Lesnar holding the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2019 and Bayley cashing the Women's Money in the Bank briefcase on Charlotte Flair at the show are some of them. There will be a lot of amazing moments that will happen in the following weeks, but these are some moments that WWE did well this Sunday:

#5 Bayley became the New Smackdown Women's Champion

This was long overdue. The Hugger has been a babyface her entire run in the WWE, and ever since Sasha Banks' storyline came to light, things haven't been the same for her. With this win, the company has shown that they trust her, and this is one step to bring The Boss back to the company.

The Money in the Bank briefcase win and the subsequent cash-in the same night confirms that the company is taking preventive measures to avoid any more catastrophe. With various superstars being annoyed about not being used to their full potential, this may very well serve them with hope.

It would be nice to see Bayley find herself in a triple threat match down the line, with the former champion and challenger coming together to win the title back. A win by Bayley will help her character, and also help the WWE in creating more positive impact between wrestlers and the WWE Universe.

#4 The Usos won the non-title match

The Usos are the best tag team in the WWE, and there will be very few that will disagree with that statement. Their matches with The New Day and other tag teams on Smackdown helped raise the stakes of the division. Now they are on Raw, and while they are in a good storyline with The Revival, they are the rightful contenders for the Tag Team Titles on Tuesday Nights.

The win in the pre-show puts them in contention for the tag team titles on the blue brand, and it is only a matter of time before it becomes a reality. If they win it or not is out of the question, because there will be sheer entertainment for the fans, and that's all that matters.

If they win the titles and then get the opportunity to be on both shows, they will help the tag team division elevate to great levels on both shows.

#3 New Contender gets a good opportunity

Lacey Evans impressed fans with her in-ring work during the #1 contender match with Natalya. The moonsault during the match had the fans talking, and her promos since then had only elevated the feud. The work done in the ring at Money In The Bank was another notch higher, as the Sassy Southern Belle was nasty in her work and ensured the fans were entertained.

We all know that she wasn't the favorite going into this match, but her in-ring performance has made the fans believe in her. It is just a matter of time before she elevates herself to the next level and could be called the New Raw Women's Champion. Her amazing promos and in-ring work will only add more fun to the already amazing storyline.

The Man is performing her character to perfection, and it is only a matter of time before she puts the Lady of NXT over.

#2 Keep the guessing game going

WWE hosts WWE Super ShowDown on 7th of June in Saudi Arabia, and as there are a plethora of matches that will happen at the show, maybe the company wanted to take out the Syrian so that he doesn't make it to the show.

There was no better way to do so than have someone attack Sami Zayn. With so much stress going on between the Canadian superstar and The Monster Among Men, it was everyone's guess that Braun Strowman would have caused this havoc.

It was revealed during the Men's Money In The Bank ladder match about who caused the attack, and it was definitely the most shocking moment during the entire show. Of all the people that would have been a part of the attack, no one expected it to be the returning superstar who hasn't been seen for over two months in the WWE.

#1 Mr. Beast In The Bank

Brock Lesnar is definitely a box-office attraction, and The Beast Incarnate made his presence felt when he showed up to fill-in for an injured Sami Zayn. This came as a shock for the WWE Universe, who weren't expecting a return from the former reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Champion.

It was a shock that did take fans by surprise, and also garnered a lot of heat from them. With WWE Super ShowDown happening in 3 weeks, it seems like The Architect will have a challenger for the greatest show in Saudi Arabia. Paul Heyman will be a key in hyping up this feud to a level that fans are involved in this storyline. We all know that The Humble Advocate can do this any day, and sell out arenas instantly.

Is there something else that you think made waves during the Money In The Bank show? Chime in.
