Brock Lesnar has not defended his Championship in his second reign at all. He is scheduled to face Braun Strowman, provided he can win the match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Now let's assume for a minute that Corbin does win the match at TLC. Could Vince McMahon stipulate that Lesnar will miss the Royal Rumble pay-per-view?

Indeed he could and I would advise him not to. Of course, it would be a great heat spot for the WWE Universe. It would truly and firmly establish Brock Lesnar as a despised heel.
But I really want the Universal Championship to make an appearance at The Royal Rumble. Not having it as a part of the proceedings will significantly devalue the once-prestigious Championship.
If only Reigns had still been the Universal Champion...
