#4 Dalton Castle

In a wrestling world dominated by amazing in-ring talents, Dalton Castle managed to stand out for his flamboyance and sheer charisma. Castle also has an impressive amateur wrestling background. All things considered, the 'Party Peacock' is one of the most talented and exciting wrestlers in the business.

Leading into his first ROH World Championship win, wrestling crowds were solidly behind him. Due to injuries and questionable booking, Castle has unfortunately found himself at a standstill in ROH.

AEW has featured plenty of in-ring wrestling, and while that is certainly setting them apart from other promotions, the company needs more personalities. Castle is the perfect person to provide that, so AEW should be doing all they can to bring him in as soon as his ROH contract is up.

#3 Alex Shelley

Many credit the likes of The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, or the early 2000's ROH roster (Punk, Danielson, Red, Joe, Styles) for today's indie boom, but one performer that doesn't get nearly enough credit is Alex Shelley. Alongside Chris Sabin, The Motor City Machine Guns were the best tag team in the world for a number of years. Now that Shelley has returned from retirement, the big stage awaits him.

Shelley is currently working with ROH, as well as studying full-time, so an AEW contract may be difficult for this busy professional wrestler, but if there's anyway for both sides to come to an agreement, it MUST happen.

Shelley may not be as smooth as he once was, but is still a phenomenal in-ring performer. As an athlete and technical wrestler, he is still superb. With all the amazing performers in AEW, Shelley could finally get the recognition he deserves.
