#4. A Ladder or steel cage match
Just like any professional wrestling promotion, WWE treats pinfall and submission victories very seriously. Thus, if WWE is keen to protect someone, but at the same time, have his opponent go over, they book Steel Cage or ladder matches.
The most recent example of such an instance is the TLC match between Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Asuka for the Smackdown Women's championship. A similar stipulation could be applied here also. Balor, who is known for his quickness and agility could easily outspeed Brock Lesnar. Thus it would be easier for the former Universal Champion to escape the cage or scale a ladder to unstrap the title rather than pinning the beast.
