I still find it hard to believe that the greatest star in TNA Impact Wrestling history, AJ Styles, has just completed four years with WWE. It was a signing no one ever thought would happen and he has gone onto become a 2 time WWE Champion, 3 time WWE United States Champion, and has wrestled some of the best matches in company history.
Among the few things that Styles has yet to accomplish in WWE is to win the Royal Rumble match and main event WrestleMania, but now could be his time. A big reason as to why Styles has not previously won the 30 man match is because his 2016 WWE debut is the only time the 'Phenomenal One' has actually competed in one. Styles has been such a remarkable WWE Champion that he spent the 2017 and 2018 Rumble events defending the gold, and 2019 challenging for it.
In my own personal opinion, I don't think AJ Styles will be winning the Rumble match, but you never know when WWE could plan a surprise like this. In the past, superstars like Sheamus didn't seem like they were anywhere near WWE Championship plans for Wrestlemania until he won the Rumble seemingly out of nowhere, and a surprise booking like this could happen again, but for AJ Styles.
