Drew McIntyre has been the future of WWE for a long time now.
Whether it was during his early days in WWE as a young Intercontinental Champion, his time tearing it up on the independent scene and in Impact Wrestling or the past few years as NXT Champion and climbing his way up on RAW, McIntyre has been ready to ignite the main event scene. The now seemingly babyface Scottish Psycopath has also been on a roll as of late with some big victories and has had many behind the scenes in the business, including Kurt Angle, say he will be WWE Champion in 2020.
I think WWE have a major opportunity here to make an even bigger star out of Drew McIntyre by having him win the Rumble. McIntyre has all the tools, is ready to claim that spot and with his skill and physical attributes, could be a very imposing threat to Brock Lesnar, especially seeing as they have never competed together.
I think winning the 2020 Royal Rumble is a long shot for McIntyre, but he is one of very few who may be believable enough to topple 'The Beast' this decade.
