Jimmy Havoc is an unlikely name for this spot, but looking at what he did in the early days of Progress Wrestling as their top Champion, he makes more and more sense. The King of the Goths is certainly a unique character, and combining that with technical prowess, violence and pure tenacity makes for a very interesting contender to the All Elite Wrestling Championship.
Havoc has made his name away from the United States wrestling scene, so matches at the top of the card with Penta, Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Hangman, Cody and others would all be fresh, and a great way to kick-start unique matches for AEW. A lot of people involved in AEW have talked about their desire to feature more adult-themed programming, and Havoc brings that in spades, and if they want to get behind a unique, new performer to the big stage, Havoc is the best candidate.
