1. Edge vs Randy Orton - RAW 2007

Randy Orton and Edge were part of the heel faction Rated RKO

Edge and Randy Orton reignited their singles careers in 2007 with an excellent run as Rated RKO. Great on the mic and excellent in the ring, the duo captured the tag team titles and took on DX in a 50-50 feud.

It was a shame that both of them were stuffed into the Money in the Bank ladder match at that year's Wrestlemania amidst dissension. But the heel duo was back in world title contention at the next PPV.

Soon the former partners were put in a one-on-one match on RAW. Both Edge and Orton cheated in the match, nailed one signature spot after the other and produced a number of near falls.

In a rare instance, WWE decided not to employ a fluke finish for a heel vs heel match and Edge beat Orton with a vicious Spear after countering the RKO. Edge would move on to SmackDown a few weeks later and would become the World Heavyweight Champion whereas Orton would remain on RAW and become the WWE Champion not much later.
