Jon Moxley made a mark since his first night in AEW
In 2019, Jon Moxley made his shocking exit from WWE, as fans expected the former WWE Champion to return to old roots in CZW and on the Independent Circuit. However, that wasn't the case to be, with Dean Ambrose announcing the return of Jon Moxley via a viral video on Twitter, Mox stans were excited to see what the former WWE Grand Slam Champion had in store.

Come 25th May 2019, Moxley shocked the entire Pro Wrestling World when he made an appearance in the closing stages of All Elite Wrestling's first-ever official pay-per-view, Double or Nothing. As Moxley marched through the arena, the crowd at the MGM Arena went absolutely bonkers and so did the people watching at home. Nobody had expected to witness the return of Jon Moxley in such fashion and in order to add further thrill to his debut, Moxley attacked Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega in his first night under AEW.
AEW's first-ever show ended with Moxley standing tall, the same guy who had been seen taking vaccine shots and dressing up as teddy bears in WWE, however, this time, things had changed and it was time for a Paradigm Shift!
