When Asuka walked out with the Women's Title that night, little did we know that she would go on to be one of the best Women's wrestlers of all time. She held the belt for 500+ days and never lost it. Additionally, she hasn't been defeated to this day.
We all figured Bayley's days in NXT were numbered, but no one thought she would go out like that. Asuka dominated the entire match up until she choked out Bayley at the end. The crowd was in it from the beginning and cheered the two on.
Asuka winning shocked the crowd. Considering what followed for Asuka, this was definitely a great start to her title run.
