WWE has had many moments over the years that have made us laugh, cry and stand in amazement.

Some, however, have shocked us and even made us fear for the performers.

These 5 WWE moments have made the WWE Universe say OMG over the past 30 years.

#5 TLC2 - WrestleMania X-Seven

The highest Spear of Edge's career
The highest Spear of Edge's career

This match took place at the Greatest WrestleMania of them all, and the Hardy Boyz, Dudley Boyz and Edge & Christian all took their previous encounters to another level.

Gifs from this match are still being created, from the Swanton Bomb to Rhyno and Spike Dudley from a gigantic ladder through two tables, Bubba Ray and Matt Hardy going off the top of a ladder to the outside through 4 stacked tables and finally the OMG moment of Jeff Hardy hanging from the tag titles, only to be speared by Edge off the top of the ladder.

Both men have said they were knocked unconscious from the fall it and still causes a grimace to watch to this day.

#4 Shane McMahon vs Kurt Angle - King of the Ring 01

Utter brutality

Once again, this match contained so many OMG moments and considering Kurt broke his tailbone on the floor midway through the match, it was incredible he finished the match, let alone perform what he and Shane did.

Everything and the kitchen sink was used in this match to injure each other and was taken to the utmost extreme when Shane was German Suplexed through the glass surrounding the entrance way.

The glass turned out to be real glass however and so did not break on impact. Repeated attempts by Angle to break both through one pane and back through another left Shane in a bloody mess.

A final 'Olympic Slam' off a wooden board on the top turnbuckle left this match in wrestling history and a severe dressing down for Shane by his dad.

#3 Big Boss Man - WrestleMania 15

Hall of Famer Big Boss Man

This OMG moment comes courtesy of one of The Undertaker's 23 WrestleMania victims, Big Boss Man. After weeks of tormenting the McMahon family as the Ministry of Darkness leader, Undertaker turned his attention to Big Boss Man who had been trying to protect the Corporation.

Being granted the first Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania meant Big Boss Man could finally look for his revenge on The Deadman, however, a Tombstone was enough to put away the enforcer. What happened next was the OMG moment.

The Brood (Edge and Christian) and Gangrel descended from the rafters and fed a noose through the cell ceiling, allowing 'Taker to set the noose around Boss Mans neck and "hung" him from the cell. This would not happen in today's climate and wasn't mentioned much on TV after it happened either!

#2 Brock Lesner - WrestleMania 30

The streak has been conquered

This was truly an OMG moment for fans who had been watching and growing up with WWE.

The Undertaker has been on our screens since 1990 after debuting at Survivor Series and had built up an unbeaten run at WrestleMania of 21-0.

Such things were legendary in the world of Pro Wrestling, and even had mainstream appeal across sports and beyond. This streak was shockingly brought to an end at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans by 'The Beast' Brock Lesner.

Taker suffered a concussion early on in the match and after 3 F5's, the conqueror lived up to his nickname and did what was thought not possible and pinned The Deadman at WrestleMania.

Production and commentators were just as shocked as the fans in attendance, with Brock's music not hitting for an age whilst they tried to ensure that the decision was correct!

#1 Mick Foley - King of the Ring 98

The shocking moment Mick Foley was nearly killed
The shocking moment Mick Foley was nearly killed

In the final OMG moment of this list, 'Mankind' Mick Foley was battling The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match. Instead of starting the match in the ring with the cell around them, both men climbed the cell to battle on top.

In what has been described since as a moment of madness and stupidity, Taker threw Mick off the top of the cage and through an announce table to the side. The fall from 16ft was bad enough, but Mick's rotation into the table caused a dislocated shoulder and led to Jim Ross using the immortal line "Good God almighty, that killed him".

Foley was able to continue the match and took another fall from the top of the cage, this time through it to the ring below after an Undertaker 'Chokeslam'. This fall led to holes in his mouth and knocking out from teeth, and Mick has said since that if he took the 'Chokeslam' correctly, he would have been killed!
