After months of intense rumors and speculation, WWE finally landed "the big fish," when AJ Styles made his WWE debut as the #3 entrant in the 2016 Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Styles hit the ground running upon arrival, shooting directly to the top of the roster, which is where he still resides, rightfully so.

Styles and Cody also have a lot in common, with The Bullet Club affiliation being one similarity that really stands out. Since leaving WWE, Cody has truly morphed into a completely new Superstar, with random shades of a younger AJ Styles, back when AJ was competing in Japan.
As mentioned earlier, we all know Cody is in a really good place right now and considering the recent success of his ALL IN pay-per-view event, Cody probably isn't going anywhere, anytime soon. But with that said, this article is essentially centred around dream matches and a contest featuring Cody Rhodes taking on AJ Styles definitely qualifies as a "dream match."

Jonathan believes integrity is vital in journalism and ensures his work is high on accuracy. He conducts in-depth research and verifies information from various sources before curating a feature.
Jonathan has engaged in many meaningful conversations with prominent pro wrestling personalities like Drew McIntyre and DDP. He grew up in Memphis, admiring Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan during WWE’s Golden Era in the ‘80s. He has attended many pro wrestling events and credits The Hulkster for making his childhood memorable.
Jonathan, a big fan of Bray Wyatt, would like to see the latter's brother, Bo Dallas, continue his legacy as Uncle Howdy. If he were to work on the storyline, Jonathan would book the return of Erick Rowan as Howdy’s muscle. He thinks it would be a great way to honor the former Universal Champion.
When not writing pro wrestling features, Jonathan likes to collect sports memorabilia and has amassed a large collection of event-used and autographed relics over the years.
