The Best of Raw: After The Show

#3 Stone Cold Salute to Shane McMahon & Triple H

Stunner for the boss’s son

On the 10th of May 1999, Monday Night Raw featured a six-man tag team match between the team of Stone Cold, The Rock and Vince McMahon versus the team of Triple H, The Undertaker and Shane McMahon. The special referee for the match was none other than ‘HBK’ Shawn Michaels.

The match was won by Austin and company after the ‘Texas Rattlesnake’ gave the boss’ son, Shane McMahon, a ‘Stone Cold Stunner’. However, it was after RAW went off air that things started to heat up, filled with surprise and confusion.

Austin pulled Shane O Mac to his feet and delivered yet another ‘Stunner’. He then continued to celebrate, but then Triple H decided to interfere. This did not end well for Triple H as he received a ‘Stunner’ as well. Austin then decided to take his leave, only to return to the ring and perform a double ‘Stunner’ on both Shane and Triple H simultaneously.

Things seemed to have cooled down when Austin handed Triple H a beer and they clinked cans, but Stone Cold was not done yet and gave ‘The Game’ another dose of his infamous signature, while he was still drinking the beer.

However, the beating didn’t end there as Austin finished things off with one last ‘Stunner’ to ‘HHH’. He then left the ring and returned again, but this time to celebrate with the fans.
