Matt and Nick Jackson, better known as 'The Young Bucks', have been awarded the tag-team of the year by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter for four consecutive years now. They also topped the Pro Wrestling Illustrated's 'tag-team of the year' list for the year 2017.
They are a highly entertaining and innovative tag-team, both within the ring and outside it. They've held the IWGP Junior-Heavyweight Tag-Team Championships for a record seven number of times. They have now decided to compete in the heavyweight division.
Their match against the Golden Lovers at NJPW's Strong Style event was praised by fans worldwide and received a five-star rating from Dave Meltzer, which is pretty unusual for tag-team matches.
'The Young Bucks' are undoubtedly the most over tag-team in the world right now. They have a merchandise deal with Hot Topic, which is pretty rare for an independent tag-team.
Their YouTube channel, 'Being the Elite', is a major hit among wrestling fans, with over 1,98,000 subscribers.
