#4 Ricochet

Ricochet

Not too long ago, Ricochet made his debut on the main roster. He has become a prominent name of the Red Brand, making him one of the top male Superstars of the year. The Resident Superhero is certainly one of the breakout stars of the year and has established his name within a short period.

Ricochet, a former NXT North American Champion was a significant name on Wednesday night's premier show for WWE, and he continued the momentum upon his arrival on the main roster. With his high-flying ability and swiftness in the squared circle, Ricochet quickly became a fan favourite, winning the United States Championship within a couple of months after making the main roster debut.

Ricochet has been booked well and has emerged as one of the biggest babyfaces on RAW. Making a noteworthy impression this year, it will be interesting to see whether the Resident Superhero takes another leap forward to win the WWE Championship in 2020.

#3 Brock Lesnar

The current WWE Champion
The current WWE Champion

While making this list, we can't avoid mentioning the current WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar. There is no doubt Lesnar remains a contender for this prize every year, as he is certainly the most dominant Superstar of this decade.

Even though Lesnar hasn't had the best year of his run since returning in 2012, he still won two world titles. The Beast Incarnate was the Universal Champion when the year started, and he will close the year as the WWE Champion. He suffered two losses against Seth Rollins this year, which isn't usual for The Beast Incarnate.

After dropping the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35, Lesnar made an abrupt return and won the Money in the Bank contract, which he soon cashed at Extreme Rules to win back the Universal Championship. Lesnar, however, didn't hold the belt for a long period, as he lost it to Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. The Beast set his focus on the WWE Championship, and he won the title on the season premiere of SmackDown on FOX. Following his victory over Kofi Kingston, Lesnar also became an eight-time World Champion.
