#2 Seth Rollins

What a year it has been!

Despite getting jeered by the fans in the latter part of the year, Seth Rollins has had an incredible year, probably the best year of his career. He replaced Roman Reigns as the face of WWE. Staying in the title picture for a major part of the year, Rollins wore the Universal Title around his waist twice in 2019.

Rollins had a brilliant start of the year, winning the Royal Rumble for the first time in his career and earning a ticket for the Show of Shows. He became The BeastSlayer at WrestleMania 35, slaying The Beast Incarnate, and he did it again at SummerSlam. Nevertheless, his popularity started to wane after SummerSlam, and he lost the title to The Fiend at Crown Jewel. With a heel turn a few weeks ago, Rollins is trying to rejuvenate his character. Given his last run as a bad guy in 2014, Rollins is expected to do a great job as a heel.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Bray Wyatt deserves the number one spot in this list, considering his spectacular run in the past few months. After returning with a new gimmick earlier this year, Bray Wyatt took WWE by storm and got the reward, winning the Universal Championship. The Fiend is not only one of the greatest creations of WWE this year but also this decade.

Bray Wyatt, the host of Firefly Fun House, has been entertaining, and has done a fantastic job portraying The Fiend as well. Making his long-awaited in-ring debut at SummerSlam, The Fiend made a strong statement beating Finn Balor. Wyatt's alter-ego immediately entered the Universal Championship picture, as he quickly became a crowd puller. The Fiend won the title at Crown Jewel and defended it for the first time at Survivor Series.

There is no denying that it has been the year of Bray Wyatt, and he is anticipated to excel more next year. Given his indomitable persona, the reigning Universal Champion is unlikely to lose the title anytime soon.
