5 Big Matches That Didn't Happen The Way WWE Planned

#1 The dream match between two champions (Survivor Series 2018)

Last year’s Survivor Series was special for the WWE Universe. Many big matches were booked for the show and this made the fans curious about the event.

Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch was also going to happen at the show but unfortunately, the match was cancelled at the very last moment. WWE did a really great job in hyping the match prior to the show and at the final Raw before Survivor Series, Lynch invaded the show with the entire SmackDown women’s division.

Lynch nearly broke Rousey’s arm and then she came to the ring to attack the other females. The brawl was happening but Nia made a mistake and accidentally punched Becky so hard that it busted her face. She had a concussion there but still, continued to do the work according to the script.

According to a rumor, Rousey vs Lynch was going to end with Charlotte saving The Man from the opposite brand’s champion. However, nothing like this ever happened.

Jax’s attack led to the cancellation of this match. Fans were really angry on her and the WWE couldn’t do anything but cancel the match. This is a recent example of a match that didn’t exactly happened the way, WWE expected.
