WWE has several options when it comes to WrestleMania 38

WrestleMania 38 is just over six months away, and plans will soon be in action for WWE's biggest show of the coming year.

WrestleMania 38 will emanate live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It has heavily been rumored to be the year that The Undertaker finally takes his place in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Every year, WWE makes sure that WrestleMania week is the biggest, and 2022 will be no different. The WrestleMania main event spot could be split into two again if the company decides to keep WrestleMania as a two-night event.

Several matches have been rumored to be the main event at WrestleMania 38. Here are five that could headline the show.

#5. Brock Lesnar vs. Big E – WWE Championship

Big E recently reached the top of the mountain when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to become WWE Champion.

The New Day member was recently officially drafted over to RAW, but his feud with Bobby Lashley appears to have come to an end. Moving forward, Big E is set to take on Drew McIntyre at Crown Jewel.

Brock Lesnar is expected to take a break from WWE until Royal Rumble where he could then start a feud with Big E. At present, there aren't any heel superstars who can match Big E's hype as a face, except for Lesnar.

Big E could spend the next six months taking on all challengers before facing Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38. If this is one of Lesnar's last matches in WWE, he could put Big E over.

This could be a main event-level match given how popular Big E is not only with the WWE Universe but also within the company.

#4. Brock Lesnar vs. former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley has noted several times that one of the reasons he returned to WWE in 2018 was because there was a promise of a match against Brock Lesnar.

Lashley was been built as an unstoppable force as WWE Champion, and it appears that Big E is the only star who has his number.

Lesnar is currently part of a feud with Roman Reigns, but it's likely that after their match at Crown Jewel, the two men will go off onto different paths.

Lesnar could then make his return at Royal Rumble. On entering the Rumble match, he could pick up a feud with Bobby Lashley.

This is a match that WWE has been waiting to pull the trigger on for a while. It can be fantastic as a backup if The Rock isn't able to make his return.

Lesnar has main evented WrestleMania on several previous occasions while Bobby Lashley deserves the spot given the work he has been putting in over the past few years.

#3. John Cena vs. current WWE Superstar Finn Balor

John Cena returned to WWE for a match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam; a match originally earmarked for Finn Balor.

Balor's name was on the contract before Cena signed the document. Balor went on to challenge for the Universal Championship a few weeks later on SmackDown, and again at Extreme Rules, but was unsuccessful.

The build for this match laid down the groundwork for a future meeting between the two stars. Cena has a hectic life outside WWE but could be open to making a return to main event WrestleMania with Finn Balor.

Cena is edging towards the end of his career while Balor continues to flourish. This would be the perfect opportunity for Cena to put over new faces. Balor was also recently in NXT and is a big reason why the brand was successful. He more than deserves this spot on the card.

#2. The Rock vs. current WWE Superstar Roman Reigns

The Rock and Roman Reigns have crossed paths in WWE several times throughout Reigns' career. It's been made clear that the two stars are friends, as well as family members.

One of the worst kept secrets in WWE is the fact that WWE wants Roman Reigns to defend his Championship against The Rock as part of WrestleMania. The main issue is the former WWE Champion's schedule outside the ring.

If WWE can lock The Rock down to be part of WrestleMania 38, he'll be main eventing the show against Roman Reigns with the Universal Championship on the line.

We are still six months out from the show at the time of writing, and anything can happen in WWE. It's unknown if The Rock will be at WrestleMania 38, or 39. What's known is that this will be one of the biggest matches in the history of WWE if the company is able to make it a reality.

#1. Ronda Rousey vs. current WWE Superstar Becky Lynch

Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch have a storied history in WWE. The two women collided several times as part of the former UFC Champion's first run in WWE.

Rousey went on hiatus from WWE following WrestleMania 35, where she lost her RAW Women's Championship to Lynch. This means, despite all of the time that Rousey has had away from WWE, she still has a rematch clause.

The former Champion recently welcomed her first child but has already noted that she's back in the gym and working on getting back into shape.

Rousey is called the Baddest Woman on the Planet for a reason and could make her return to the company in a few months to settle the score with Lynch.

Becky Lynch only recently returned to WWE after welcoming her first child and there'd be no bigger or better match for The Man at WrestleMania 38 than against Ronda Rousey.
