There's a lot that didn't work with the Ronda Rousey contract signing. It was really awkward in the beginning, but one botch by Kurt Angle changed the whole segment for the better. Kurt occasionally messes up his lines and when he tried to recall which WrestleMania it was that Ronda previously appeared in, he first stated one that was about ten years too early.
The mistake was quickly fixed, but the good news was that this was the catalyst to set this moment right. Kurt was lovingly lackadaisical as he outed his superiors for their ulterior motives, Rousey stopped talking and became the tough fighter that she rightfully needs to be, and both Hunter and Stephanie became the heels to set this all on fire.
It seemed obvious that Ronda's on a collision course with Mr. and Mrs. McMahon-Helmsley at this year's WrestleMania, likely with Kurt Angle by her side.
