Goldberg defeated "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt to become the new Universal Champion!

#1: Goldberg became the new Universal Champion

Speaking strictly as a fan, "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt is not only the most popular gimmick in WWE today, but Wyatt has also created one of the most unique WWE characters of all time.

So for The Fiend's amazing title run to be taken away just for the sake of "WrestleMania booking" convenience is nothing but infuriating.

After Goldberg's four spears and a Jackhammer, Bray Wyatt was no longer the Champion of the Universe. On top of that, there was an out-of-place post-match event that saw The Fiend immediately getting up as Goldberg celebrated with the title by standing on the ropes.

What was seemingly "out-of-place" about the whole thing was that instead of attacking Goldberg when he turned around, Wyatt simply disappeared despite having the advantage at hand.

It's almost as if Wyatt had to disappear because Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns seems to be the long-term plan here, folks.

Roman Reigns becoming the new Universal Champion seems to be the endgame at this year's WrestleMania, and for that to happen without Reigns getting booed, you would want him facing Goldberg instead of The Fiend.

Will Bray Wyatt get his retribution against Goldberg soon, or is John Cena's return at SmackDown indicative of the fact that the rumours surrounding Cena's WrestleMania match against "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt are true?
