For the most part of 2016, WWE did its best in hyping up the undefeated PPV streak of Charlotte Flair. Her rivalry with Sasha Banks was voted the best rivalry of 2016 and it involved a hot potato of the Women's Championship, which had Charlotte winning every PPV match against Banks.

However, her streak was unwittingly put to an end at Fastlane in February, which was a B-PPV at best. The way the announcers and Charlotte herself hyped this undefeated streak made it an important story-arc, but Bayley's win against Charlotte at Fastlane was completely uncalled for.

This PPV streak could have been utilized as a storytelling device in a much better way by having it end at a bigger PPV, creating a much more bigger moment when it finally ended.
