#3 The artist known as Shinsuke Nakamura
Shinsuke Nakamura tore the house down in 2016 in NXT, producing classic encounters with the likes of Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, and Samoa Joe to name a few. He made a name for himself in WWE and became a two-time NXT champion, whilst being the most over superstar in WWE by miles.
His arrival on the main roster was met with a thunderous response from the WWE Universe but his stay on Smackdown Live has been a colossal waste of his talent. His transition from being a ruthless "King of Strong Style" to becoming a "Resident Rockstar of WWE" has been painful to watch.
He has had three feuds, against Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin, and Jinder Mahal, and it is safe to say that all of these feuds have disappointed in a massive fashion. His lame feud with Jinder Mahal was one of the worst things on WWE television.
Nakamura is definitely touted as a future superstar and definitely will get the spotlight he deserves, but his booking this year left a lot to be desired.
