#3 Can the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships finally come to NXT after TakeOver: Vengeance Day?

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships were unveiled by the company as a way to build the women’s tag team division of RAW, NXT, and SmackDown. The purpose of the titles was to serve as the top Championship for the women’s tag team division across all three brands.

Fans have seen the Superstars of RAW and SmackDown win the title since its inception. However, none of the teams from NXT have won the titles yet. Fans haven’t even seen too many teams from NXT get a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships yet either.

The Women’s Dusty Rhodes Classic has finally opened the door for some NXT tag teams who can now work ahead and possibly reach the main roster soon. However, Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai’s victory at TakeOver: Vengeance Day will likely give them a shot at the title sooner rather than later.

Will the Women’s Tag Team Championships finally come to NXT to bolster the women’s division of the brand? WWE needs to take the step now to increase the value of the NXT women’s division after their incredible showing at Vengeance Day.

Will WWE be willing to take the titles away from Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler and put them on a team from NXT?
