#2 The Best in the World was nothing more than a time-filling tournament

This was pretty disappointing

Since the entire tournament was supposed to display pure athleticism and sheer craft of the superstars that were announced to participate, the creative team ended the tournament in a way that has the entire world buzzing for all the wrong reasons.

Considering that the decision to headline the finals with the Miz and Dolph Ziggler felt a little confusing, the A-Lister's injury during the encounter coerced Shane McMahon to insert himself into the bout and dismantle the Show-Off to become the Best in the World.

While the 'Best in the World' gimmick is reserved to CM Punk, the creative booking of the tournament was perhaps the most disappointing thing in recent memory.

The matches in the semi-finals were a bit entertaining, with Seth Rollins delivering another excellent bout with Ziggler, but since everyone remembers the end, everything that transpired before doesn't make any sense.

It's a damn shame that a tournament that could have ended on a high note, with a deserving competitor dethroning everyone to prove his supremacy ended in such a terrible fashion.
