5 Blockbuster Matches WWE Could Be Planning for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35

It was just this past week that Roman Reigns returned to the WWE ring. He announced that his Leukemia is in remission and later at the show, also reunited The Shield. The way things are looking right now, I think that WWE has cleared him to wrestle.

According to some rumors, the WWE is currently planning a match for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35 but they still haven’t decided who The Big Dog is going to face the show. We don’t know how true this rumor is but, if Roman Reigns is really going to work at Mania then he obviously needs to have an opponent.

Currently, Seth Rollins, his Shield Brother, is scheduled to face Brock Lesnar at the Shows Of The Shows and it is unlikely that the WWE will add Reigns in this match. But, there are some good options as well where The Big Dog could fit well. Here are 5 matches WWE could be planning for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35.

#5 A blockbuster feud with Dean Ambrose

Not only did Reigns returned and provided an update on his Leukemia last week, but he (along with Rollins) also saved Dean Ambrose from 4 top heels of Monday Night Raw. Ambrose was fighting with Drew McIntyre and suddenly Elias attacked him. After that, Corbin and Lashley also came to beat him but then, Reigns and Rollins appeared to help their Shield Brother, who betrayed them last year.

Ambrose's heel turn flopped badly but now, WWE could do something fix it. The Lunatic Fringe turned heel against Rollins last October and now, he could do the same against Roman Reigns. The WWE Universe is currently behind Reigns and if this heel turn happens, then Ambrose could generate some serious heat. This way WWE could book this match at WrestleMania.

#4 The Rock finally returns to face Roman Reigns

There were some rumors that Roman Reigns could face The Rock at this year’s WrestleMania. Some suggested that The Hollywood Star could enter this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match and challenge Reigns at Mania for the Universal Championship by winning it. Unfortunately, Reigns was diagnosed with Leukemia which destroyed every single hope for this match.

However, now that he has returned, I think this match could take place. Even though The Rock’s Hollywood schedule is cramped, he could still find a way to do what he loves the most.

The last time we saw The Rock’s match in WWE, he fought against Erick Rowan at WrestleMania 32. Since then, the fans are screaming for his return but due to Rock’s tight schedule, he can’t. However, don’t let that deceive you from the fact that from the past few weeks, WWE is doing things we never expected. So maybe, we are actually going to see The Rock’s return in the WWE so that he can feud with his cousin, Roman Reigns.

#3 WWE’s biggest face shares ring with The Big Dog

According to a report, John Cena is going to work at WrestleMania but the company hasn’t decided who is going to face him. There were some rumors that Lars Sullivan could face Cena at Mania but because he has some medical problems, this match seems unlikely to happen. At the same time, WWE is discussing an opponent for Roman Reigns.

So instead of finding an opponent for both Superstars why the WWE doesn’t book them together in a feud?

They both have feuded with each other in the past but we all know, new rivalries can’t happen every time. Both Superstars do their things perfectly and it would be great if they face each other at Mania. We still haven’t seen their match together at this show and if it happens, then I’m sure that Cena will lose to put Reigns over.

Even though Braun Strowman is a big Superstar, WWE isn't treating him well. They are continuously involving him into boring feuds and storylines which is hurting the former Raw Tag Team Champion. The WWE seriously needs to put a halt on his rivalry against Baron Corbin as it isn't benefitting anybody.

Strowman and Reigns’ rivalry in 2017 was one of the best rivalries that happened in the WWE that year and the fans also enjoyed it. So there’s no reason why these two Superstars can’t generate the same impact as before. The WWE doesn’t need to anything crazy for this rivalry as the Monster Among Men could easily find a reason to feud with Reigns.

Both Superstars were also feuding last year with each other but Reigns’ illness stopped this rivalry in between. Strowman could attack his former rival in the upcoming weeks as it could easily start a rivalry between the two.

#1 Drew McIntyre promises to annihilate Roman Reigns at the Grandest Stage Of Them All

Drew McIntyre has now become of the biggest heels of Modern Era whereas Roman Reigns is getting cheers from the fans, at the moment. And now, the WWE could use McIntyre to feud with Reigns for WrestleMania. The Scottish Psychopath faced Dean Ambrose last week where he took the victory. Post-match, McIntyre, Corbin, Elias, and Lashley attacked Ambrose but The Shield came to protect him.

Roman Reigns attacked McIntyre with a superman punch and then with a spear. Now, these two moves are enough for McIntyre to feud with Reigns as we all know he will not sit silently. McIntyre could be seeking to take revenge from The Big Dog for attacking him.

He, too, hasn’t found any opponent for WrestleMania but now, he could easily feud with Reigns. The next few weeks in WWE are going to be interesting to the fans as the company is continuously surprising us unexpected decisions.
