Dream showdowns of this stature generally gravitate a lot of mainstream attention and it gives WWE a good opportunity to keep Roman Reigns far away from the main event scene.

The two heavyweights confronted each other back in 2017 to a thunderous response. Despite the fact that Roman has all credentials to be a viable contender for Wyatt's Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36, a match with a legend like Goldberg would end up keeping him on the right side of things.
