Royal Rumble comes to Philadelphia

The thirty-first WWE Royal Rumble will air live this Sunday from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The pay-per-view always creates a feeling of euphoria among the fans and critics alike. The event also brings a plethora of possibilities to look forward to. This year's Rumble will be no different and with some quality matches booked for the show, the WWE Universe is salivated to immerse in this sensational experience that is 'The Royal Rumble'.

Here are the 5 bold predictions for Royal Rumble 2018

#5 Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn make history with Daniel Bryan's assistance

<p>
The Yes and Yep Movement could collaborate to make a huge statement

This is a bold prediction. But, at the same time comes with exciting possibilities which could shake things up at SmackDown Live for the better. Though everyone in the WWE Universe wants to see AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura, it does not mean it should be for the WWE Championship. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are ruling the blue brand with their heel antics and have continuously delivered solid statements on why they deserve to be on the top of the food chain.

Now, there has to be no argument about Daniel Bryan's inclination towards the duo considering both of them are ceaseless victims of Shane's authoritative ideology. The duo is set to face 'The Phenomenal One' this Sunday and it would be an ideal decision to have 'The Leader of the Yes Movement' intervene in controversial fashion and assist Sami and Kevin in making history.

The fact that Bryan costs Styles the most coveted prize on the blue brand would not only frustrate Shane O'Mac but also could be a blockbuster inception of a return to the ring for the greatest wrestler of this generation. WWE has the potential to tell two stories with this match and if done right, then SmackDown Live could definitely overtake Raw on the lines of viewership.

#4 Brock Lesnar will retain the Universal Championship

'The Beast' will not be conquered this Sunday

There is no doubt that Braun Strowman has been booked like a monster. Considering his recent vicious showings, it is a concrete assurance that he will enter this match as a legitimate threat to Lesnar's Universal Title. But, despite the odds stacked against Brock with a triple threat affair, 'The Beast' will not be conquered this Sunday.

Brock Lesnar retaining the Universal Championship is not even a prediction, it is a spoiler. The WWE would not take the belt away from him considering they still want 'The Big Dog' to reign supreme. If either one of the two challengers walks out of the Wells Fargo Center with the title, then WWE's idea to book Roman Reigns as the guy to defeat 'The Beast' at WrestleMania 34 would be an absolute failure.

Expect this to be a brawl with 'The Monster Among Men' decimating what comes in his way. But, the eventuality of the match would definitely see 'The Beast' annihilate the two monsters and come out on top to seal the date with 'The Big Dog' for WrestleMania 34.

#3 Ronda Rousey will blow the roof off the place with a sensational debut

This would get the internet talking

WWE will host the first-ever women's Royal Rumble match this Sunday at the Wells Fargo Center. There would be a definite pressure on the talented ladies to deliver a spectacular match as the fans will be expecting a certain superstar to make a sensational debut and steal the spotlight with her offensive and versatile performance.

It has been rumoured for years that 'The Rowdy One' was coming to WWE. With recent speculations regarding her future, it seems inevitable that Ronda Rousey will show up this Sunday and blow the roof off the place. The Women's Royal Rumble would definitely be historic but what could make it unforgettable is the debut of a fighter who would add a thunderous boost to the Women's Division.

Expect a wild night with the ladies brawling with each other to win a spot and get interrupted by Rousey in what could be the loudest reactions of the night. We would definitely predict Asuka, Ronda and Becky to be the final three with 'The Rowdy One' throwing both off the top and seal her place in history.

#2 A Raw Superstar will win the Royal Rumble

The st
The stakes are higher than ever

The previous Royal Rumble outings have been fairly entertaining but have ended with sheer disappointment. Despite the numerous possibilities, it seems that this year will be no different. A SmackDown Live superstar was originally rumoured to win the Rumble this year with Shinsuke Nakamura being the heavy favourite. But, if somehow 'The King of Strong Style' does not get the big win, it would be either Roman Reigns, 'Big Match' John or Finn Balor who could book their ticket to WrestleMania.

The stakes are higher than ever and a Raw superstar winning the Royal Rumble seems like a legitimate possibility. WWE's original plan of having Brock Lesnar collide with Roman Reigns at 'The Show of Shows' is still on and with 'The Big Dog' losing the Intercontinental title to 'The Awesome One', it only adds fuel to the fire that he will enter the Royal Rumble as the favourite.

Expect a fantastic Royal Rumble match amalgamated with spectacular spots and a predictable win for a Raw Superstar whose name ends with Reigns. Disappointing, but irrefutable.

#1 The Undertaker makes a shocking return to the Rumble

T
'The Deadman' could set things straight this Sunday

We all heard what The Undertaker had to say on the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw and his address to the WWE Universe was exciting yet very puzzling. 'The Deadman's future still remains up in the air with some critics and fans feeling that he has retired from in-ring competition but the recent rumours say otherwise.

There have been rumours swirling around that 'The Phenom' is still not done and would likely return to have another match at 'The Show of Shows'. Since this could be the last time we see The Undertaker get into the ring to compete, it would make complete sense to have him enter the Royal Rumble and elevate the standard of the main event. Imagine a possibility where the '16-time World Champion' is dominating the Royal Rumble and out of nowhere gets interrupted by a spine-chilling return of 'The Phenom'.

Expect the WWE Universe in Philadelphia to explode if something of such magnitude happens. The return of 'The Deadman' to the Royal Rumble would not only shock the WWE Universe but also would be a perfect moment to set a dream feud that is still set in stone for WrestleMania this year.
