Therefore, with the announcement of this year's tournament to be held at the Royal Albert Hall, excitement is generating. However, will WWE debut new talent? Who could we expect to see? Whatever WWE decision this event will be a classic.

Here are 5 British Wrestlers who should be in the UK Championship Tournament.

# 5. Davey Boy Smith Jr

Harry Francis Smith is a British-Canadian wrestler currently working for New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). Performing under the ring name Davey Boy Smith Jr., he has garnered much acclaim and success in Japan. Furthermore, he is the son of the legendary British Bulldog.

In Japan, Smith works alongside his tag team partner Lance Archer and collectively they are former IWGP & GHC champions. However, Smith deserves one more shot in WWE, due to his release in 2011. Therefore, with the United Kingdom Championship tournament approaching, he would be a perfect candidate.

The Royal Albert Hall serves as the host for the tournament. In 1991 the British Bulldog won a 20-Man Battle Royal. Could his son Davey Boy Smith replicate his father's success and become the United Kingdom Champion?

#4. Marty Scurll

'The Villain' Marty Scurll is arguably a unique character. However, he has never worked for WWE. Currently wrestling in Japan and for Ring of Honor, he is extremely popular and is a member of the notorious Bullet Club. Therefore, with the United Kingdom Tournament approaching, he would suit perfectly.

Pete Dunne, Trent Seven, and Tyler Bate form, British Strong Style. However, to forget Marty Scurll is tragic. His ring style certainly mimicks British Strong Style and is similar to Bob Backlund and Bret Hart. Therefore, with Pete Dunne facing the tournament winner, this match could be classic. What can we expect?

#3. Neville

Adrian Neville is currently working for WWE and since his debut in 2012 has enjoyed reasonable success. He was NXT Champion, NXT Tag Team Champion, and Cruiserweight Champion. Essentially, Neville has been valuable to WWE. However, he has been absent recently. The question arises, what could his plans be?

To date, his reign as Cruiserweight champion has cemented his success. Whereas, his heel character is potentially more crucial. Nevertheless, Neville deserves success in WWE and winning the UK tournament would be perfect. His ring style is dynamic and affords an excellent viewing. Could we expect Neville to return?

#2. Zack Gibson

Zack Gibson performs for Defiant Wrestling. He has wrestled everywhere except WWE. It is clear that WWE has missed an opportunity. However, with the UK tournament approaching, there is an excellent opportunity to debut Gibson. In addition, he was considered for ITV's World of Sport.

Gibson has a unique ring style and is efficient on the microphone. These skills are the mainstay for any WWE wrestler. Therefore, he is suited to join the UK division. Moreover, Pete Dunne would be a perfect match-up for Gibson. Will WWE bring Gibson into the spotlight?

#1. Nick Aldis

Nick Aldis is currently performing for the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). He is the reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Most notably known for his work in Impact Wrestling (TNA), and in Pro Wrestling Noah. Aldis is presently the only wrestler to have held a world championship in; NWA, TNA (Impact Wrestling), and GFW (Global Force Wrestling).

Aldis possesses both ring skill and the physique that typically suits Vince McMahon's preferences. Moreover, he is married to current WWE superstar Mickie James. Having debuted in 2003 Aldis certainly has the experience to suit the WWE ethos. Therefore, he would be a perfect shock debut for the UK tournament. Will WWE shock their fans?
