5 Brock Lesnar matches that must happen before he leaves

UFC 200 - Weigh-in
Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is as legitimate as it gets. There is no qualm in saying that he's a box-office draw for any promotion, be it the WWE or UFC. Lesnar is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion and the reigning Universal Champion.

According to the rumour mill, Lesnar is set to face The Big Dog Roman Reigns in the main-event of WrestleMania 34. Once he's done putting Reigns over, many speculate that he'll not sign another deal with WWE, and once again go on to pursue a career in MMA.

However, before The Beast leaves to reign over the octagon again, there is a set of clashes that WWE must give to its fans. Lesnar is a great seller, and every man who's been in a feud with him has come out looking a 'million bucks'.

The likes of Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman and AJ Styles have all battled with The Beast at some point in time, and they have all been great to see.

Here are five Brock Lesnar matches that need to happen before he leaves.

#5 Cesaro

WWE Live Munich 2016

The 'Swiss Superman' is one of the most underrated wrestlers on the entire WWE roster. The WWE management has never really fully backed Cesaro.

He is unquestionably one of the most consistent in-ring performers, and puts on great matches, day-in, and day-out. A one-on-one match-up with Lesnar will allow Cesaro to earn the trust of the management and will do wonders for him. The match itself will be nothing less than a spectacle. The 'Heyman connection' is also there and will add a great wrinkle to their story.

Cesaro was a former 'Paul Heyman Guy' and Heyman currently serves as the advocate for Lesnar. If WWE is really interested in doing things out of the box, this clash is No. 1 on that list.

#4 Pete Dunne

The Bruiserweight vs The Beast is a clash fans have been clamoring for long. In fact, the WWE UK Champion recently called out the reigning Universal Champion on the NXT Takeover pre-show.

It will be a match between two of the baddest individuals on the planet, who will go to any lengths to tear each other apart.

This match could headline any PPV and if given decent time, these two would definitely steal the show. If anyone has any doubts regarding Dunne's ability, watch his matches against Tyler Bate, and his performance in the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament.

#3 Finn Balor

The Demon vs The Conqueror is a clash that was supposed to go down at the Royal Rumble 2018.

However, as we know that didn't happen, we were treated to a triple threat match between Lesnar, Kane and Strowman. Lesnar has the belt which Balor never lost. The story is already there.

Fans have been long awaiting this clash and it's high time WWE fulfills their demands. Balor, as we know, can put on great matches with literally anyone, and Lesnar, on his day, can do wonders too.

#2 Shinsuke Nakamura

Since his Rumble win, everyone seems to remember just why the 'King of Strong Style' is such a massive legend. As wrestling fans would know, Lesnar and Nakamura have collided once before in NJPW, but the match wasn't great.

However, now, things have changed. They have become two of the biggest names in the pro-wrestling world and a clash between these two titans will surely be a dream come true.

A match for the WWE Championship at Summerslam 2018 between Lesnar and Nakamura will be a treat no wrestling fan would refuse.

#1 Bobby Lashley

'The Destroyer vs The Conqueror' is a match made in heaven. They are two of the biggest, baddest and meanest individuals on the planet. If rumours are to be believed, Lashley is set to return to WWE, and immediately go on to feud with Lesnar.

They are pretty much two sides of the same coin. Both have tasted success in MMA, with Lashley (an American Top Team member) ruling over the Bellator world and Lesnar conquering the UFC Heavyweight division.

While Lesnar was riding roughshod over everyone in WWE, taking everyone to 'Suplex City', Lashley was busy destroying talent over at Impact Wrestling. This match needs to happen, and soon.
