#5 Roman Reigns winning Royal Rumble 2015

Why Vince Why?
Why Vince Why?

While I do admire Roman Reigns for his in-ring work, one can't help but admit that The Big Dog may never be the poster boy the company is desperately wanting him to be.

Granted that his rise with The Shield was outstanding and brought him some spotlight, but the fact that Vince McMahon rushed into making him a legitimate WrestleMania headliner didn't sit well with any in the WWE Universe.

With Daniel Bryan continuing to ascend towards the very top of the industry, the company's reluctance in seeing a WWE Champion in him coerced the fans to turn their backs on Roman Reigns.

Considering that The Leader of the Yes Movement didn't even make it to Royal Rumble 2014, every single one in the WWE Universe expected him to realize the ultimate dream by outshining 29 other superstars and win the Royal Rumble in 2015.

Though a match with Brock Lesnar could have been an ultimate fantasy war, Vince remained rock-solid with his decision and went ahead to push The Big Dog to the moon.

Roman's victory ultimately backfired and played the biggest factor in depreciating his stock in the fans' eyes. Even The Rock's shocking appearance couldn't save him, with the fans also booing The Great One to endorse his cousin.

Legions in the WWE Universe cancelled their network subscription and whilst it didn't bring alterations to WrestleMania 31, the damage was done and may never repair.
