Samoa Joe has excelled behind the WWE RAW commentary desk as few others have before him. He has not just taken on the role of color commentator, but made it his own and is an integral part of the WWE RAW presentation every week.
One has to believe that when the time is right, Samoa Joe will return to the ring again, but because of his age (41), it is impossible to say how many good years he has left. That said, when he does hang up his boots, Samoa Joe could be a fantastic manager, especially if he is put in charge of the next big match on WWE RAW or SmackDown.
Samoa Joe is one of the most gifted men in the entire roster when it comes to cutting a promo, and one has to assume that he'll be able to get the talent in question over in the best manner possible. In fact, if he is paired with someone like Dabba Kato as a wrestler/manager when it's time for him to return to WWE RAW again as an active talent in the future, it wouldn't be the worst decision.
