Braun Strowman is the current Universal Champion and is someone who is also proving that the WWE developmental set up is the best in the world.
Just seven years ago, Braun Strowman was competing in Strongman competitions and wasn't thinking of wrestling as a career path for him. He went on to sign a contract with the company in early 2013 before being spotted on NXT as one of Adam Rose's Rosebuds the following year.
Strowman was one of the few stars who was able to make it to the main roster without having a match on NXT, since he moved straight on to debut on Monday Night RAW as a member of The Wyatt Family. Strowman was then billed as a monster throughout the first few years of his TV career.
The Monster Among Men has since been able to go it alone and has some impressive feuds with Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar over the past few years. Right now, Strowman holds one of the two richest prizes in WWE and is another star who is a product of WWE's impressive Performance Center.
