Zack Ryder was part of WWE for more than a decade before his release back in April. The former star was once in a relationship with fellow WWE star Emma but this break-up led to Ryder's relationship with Chelsea Green, who was known as Laurel Van Ness in IMPACT Wrestling.
Green has since moved to WWE and made her debut for NXT under her real name, but her fiancee recently made his debut for All Elite Wrestling under the ring name Matt Cardona.

Ryder and Green were able to make their relationship work while he was on the main roster and she was in NXT - as well as when Ryder was in WWE and Green was in IMPACT Wrestling, so this isn't anything new for the couple.
The couple has been dating since January 2017 and announced their engagement following WrestleMania back in 2019. The couple celebrated in the shadow of the Empire State building and shared their huge step in their relationship on social media.
