Johnny Gargano is affectionately known as Johnny Wrestling down in NXT, whilst his wife Candice LeRae has seen by his side in an NXT ring a number of times. Before LeRae debuted by her husband's side in WWE, she was well-known on the Independent Circuit as a woman who would take on the challenge of men.
As a long time tag team partner of Joey Ryan, LeRae would take on all comers in Intergender matches and many fans believe that this was one of the reasons why WWE didn't come knocking sooner.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Gargano and LeRae have faced off in a wrestling ring a number of times and easily proved that both stars have the skills and ability to defeat the other at any given moment.
