#3. Triple H could be leading RETRIBUTION

Last year's Survivor Series saw Team NXT come out on top when they were able to win four of the seven brand supremacy matches but it didn't seem to change anything. Survivor Series is just around the corner and RETRIBUTION could be starting early in order to make a statement on the main roster led by Triple H.

NXT stars could be coming in and attacking the main roster talent to make it clear that they are better than them ahead of one of the company's biggest show of the year.

Survivor Series last year saw the main roster attacking NXT for a number of weeks but the story was jump-started because of the issues in Saudi Arabia. RETRIBUTION could be WWE's way of ensuring that there is an interesting storyline heading into Survivor Series, especially if the NXT stars in question are not looking for promotion to the main roster.

Stars like Tommaso Ciampa has made it clear in recent interviews that he is happy in NXT and isn't actively looking to be called up to the main roster.
