Kairi Sane is a former Women's Tag Team Champion alongside Asuka, but the former NXT star has been part of a number of rumors in recent weeks as regards to her WWE status. Reports from both The Wrestling Observer and Fightful have speculated that Sane could be set to retire from the company and head back to her native country to be with her husband.
Sane has been part of a long-distance relationship with her husband over the past few years and finally announced that the couple had married back in February 2020.

Sane is one of the current WWE stars who have been very private about her personal life since she remains a popular star in WWE's Women's Division. That being said, Sane was so excited about her marriage back in 2020 that she took to Twitter to announce that she was now a married woman, something that was out of character for The Pirate Princess.
Rumors suggest that Sane could remain with WWE, but at present, her WWE status still remains complicated.
