5 Current WWE Superstars that creative have forgotten about

Has WWE forgotten about these contracted superstars?
Has WWE forgotten about these contracted superstars?

It has been a rough few weeks for WWE since the likes of Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn have opted to remain home given the current COVID-19 pandemic. This has meant that WWE had no choice but to give Braun Strowman the Universal Championship and push him into a feud with Bray Wyatt which could have been saved for much later. The company has also decided to take the Intercontinental Championship away from Sami Zayn and begin a tournament to crown a new champion

WWE has been using a lot of NXT talent on Monday Night RAW in recent weeks, but the fact that these stars have been pulled in means that many others have been forgotten about. Even though the company has made wholesale changes to their roster in recent months and released many of the stars who aren't being used, there are still many others waiting in the wings for an opportunity to compete.

#5. Bo Dallas

It's been a long time since Bo Dallas has been seen on WWE TV, since the former Tag Team Champions' most notable last appearance came back in September when he became 24/7 Champion when he pinned Drake Maverick.

Dallas' tag team partner Curtis Axel was released from WWE back in April but the company has decided to keep Dallas on the payroll despite not pushing him on the main roster since his time as the "Inspirational" Bo Dallas.

Given the fact that Bray Wyatt is his brother, it's hard to believe that the idea of Dallas joining the Firefly Fun House hasn't been pitched in the past, since the former NXT Champion would be a perfect addition to the show.

WWE hopefully has some plans in mind for Dallas since they made the decision to release his tag team partner without him, so this could be a blessing in disguise.

#4. Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair announced on the RAW after WrestleMania that she had made the move up to the WWE main roster and would now be appearing alongside her husband Montez Ford. Whilst Belair made her Raw debut helping The Street Profits in their feud with Zelina Vega, she has since moved on and Belair hasn't been seen.

Interestingly, despite being one of the biggest stars of NXT's Women's Division, Belair wasn't one of the women who were called forward to compete for Money in the Bank qualification, nor was she made part of the pay-per-view overall. Interestingly WWE allowed Sarah Logan to step into a match with Shayna Baszler, whilst Nia Jax qualified off a match against Kairi Sane and Asuka was able to defeat Ruby Riott.

Aside from a backstage appearance when she was congratulating Becky Lynch on her pregnancy a few weeks ago, it appears that Belair has been completely forgotten about by WWE. This comes as a huge surprise since Lynch's recent announcement has opened up a huge gap in the Women's Division and Belair could easily slot into.

#3. Mustafa Ali

A few months ago it looked as though Mustafa Ali was about to gain a huge push on WWE television when vignettes began to air on SmackDown. These videos indicated that he was set for a change of character where he would be much more grounded.

Ali was moved over to the WWE main roster with so much potential and it was reported that the company was looking to push him last year ahead of WrestleMania, but an injury meant that Kofi Kingston took his place and went on to become WWE Champion.

Ali hasn't been seen on WWE TV for a number of months and whilst there are rumors that he could be the face behind SmackDown's newest hacker. This is yet to be revealed, since the hacker himself could be anyone currently performing on SmackDown.

If Ali isn't the man behind the hood, looking to hand out his own brand of truth and justice, then this means that the company has run out of creative plans for one of the most exciting stars in the company at present.

#2. Shorty G

Much like fellow star Mustafa Ali, many WWE fans have speculated that Chad Gable could be the man behind the hood of the SmackDown hacker, but this still remains a rumor at present.

Gable is a former Olympian and was a finalist in last year's King of the Ring tournament before the company made the decision to change his name. Gable became known as "Shorty G" and was then bullied about his height on a regular basis before disappearing off WWE TV altogether.

Shorty G was last seen as part of a feud with Sheamus back at this year's Royal Rumble pay-per-view - after the Irish star made his return to WWE and decided to target a smaller man.

Shorty G was defeated by The Celtic Warrior in their match at the Rumble and then again in a rematch on SmackDown a few days later before disappearing. It comes as a shock that WWE would go through the process of changing his name with no future plans in mind for the former Tag Team Champion.

#1. Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio was brought into a storyline with his father Rey Mysterio on WWE TV last year when he was shown talking the masked legend out of retirement.

Dominik was made part of the feud with Brock Lesnar when he was attacked at ringside by Lesnar. Cain Velasquez then made his WWE debut to avenge the attack on his godson.

Velasquez was unable to defeat Lesnar and Mysterio then moved onto a new feud with Andrade, before recently being included in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Following the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Mysterio was attacked by Seth Rollins and put on the shelf for a number of months.

At one point there was a rumor that Dominik was going to help his father in a WrestleMania match, but this seems to have been forgotten now since it's been months since Dominik has been spotted in WWE TV.

It's likely that WWE scrapped their plans for the son of Mysterio and will now be monitoring his training to see if they can insert him into a feud in the near future.
