#1. Rey Mysterio's retirement could become much closer following WrestleMania

Rey Mysterio returned to WWE at the 2018 Royal Rumble, but is another star who isn't on the card for this year's WrestleMania as of writing. The WWE legend is expected to be part of the Tag Team Championship picture alongside his son Dominik at WrestleMania, but this is yet to be announced.

Mysterio is 46-years-old and has spent the past three decades traveling the world and learning his craft in the business. WWE has now signed his son Dominik, which has allowed Mysterio to experience a career resurgence of sorts for several months.

That being said, the former World Champion has spoken openly about his retirement over the past few years and it's obvious that Mysterio is hanging on to help his son's career get off the ground. Dominik has already become a popular star in WWE and if the company pulls the trigger on a feud between father and son in the near future, then it's hard to believe that Mysterio's retirement won't be far behind.
