The present-day NXT roster is stacked with some of the most talented men and women the business has to offer right now. However, in a division that consists of the likes of Johnny Gargano, Finn Balor, and Tommaso Ciampa and other top names, Adam Cole is quite possibly the most well-established Superstar in the black-and-yellow division.

With Adam Cole around, there barely is a dull moment in NXT and the former NXT Champion has pretty much been on a hot run ever since his debut in 2017. After all, Cole is the longest-reigning NXT Champion in history and is also the leader of one of the most popular WWE factions of all time, The Undisputed Era.

Cole, however, could fit well in AEW given his prior connections to current AEW stars in their time spent together in the independent scene. Prior to going their separate ways, Cole and The Young Bucks were part of the Bullet Club as members of a sub-group called Superkliq, similar to the original Elite trio of Kenny Omega and The Bucks.

Speaking of Omega, Adam Cole also had his issues with the former in Bullet Club before "The Cleaner" eventually fired Cole from the faction Being a part of AEW would certainly lead to the possibility of a dream match between Adam Cole and Kenny Omega.
